Parking on a Hill

When taking the written test for your driver’s license, you should expect questions on parking.

All handbooks will have information on how to park on a hill. Make sure you study this carefully.

One of our users had the following comment on the picture above: the picture does not make any sense, the tires are facing away from the curb so if the brakes fail it WILL go in to traffic

If you study the picture just a little bit closer, you will understand that the back of the front tires will quickly hit the curb, and stop the car from going further.

If your tires are pointing the other way, the back of your car and the back tires will eventually hit the curb, but then a larger portion of the front will go into the traffic.
