The MVA knowledge test for the noncommercial Class C license consists of 25 questions. A score of 85% or better is required to pass.
Tests are administered on a computer and are available in English as well as Spanish. Other translations or oral tests may also be available in most branch offices. Make sure you make an appointment if you need other translations or oral tests.
On licenseroute.com you can find a complete coverage of the Maryland Driver’s Manual. All important areas are added to our tests.
Remember, MVA has made every effort to prevent applicants from passing the test simply by memorizing the answers to a limited number of test questions. Questions are drawn from a large pool of test items, allowing anything appearing in the driver manual to show up on the test.
You need to read the driver’s manual, and fully understand things like use of signals, how to handle emergencies, sharing the road with trucks, alcohol use, and headlight use.
After reading the manual, take a few of our practice tests. There is no time limit. You must correctly answer 22 questions to “pass”.
All our practice tests are free and, in most cases, unlimited.
