Expensive Doesn’t Always Mean Good…

A $28 million system in Montana fails to meet expectations. In fact, longer processing times have been the norm since the Montana Enhanced Registration and Licensing Network, or MERLIN, was launched five weeks ago.

Offices are going over budget because of the overtime for this. And my guess is that MERLIN in the end will cost a lot more than $28 million.

Money that could have been better spent?
