Florida Practice Tests Updated

Florida Driver's Handbook 2013

New Florida Practice Tests

The Florida practice tests at licenseroute.com have been updated and 50 new questions have been added.

The sample tests on licenseroute.com are randomly created from a database of more than 500 questions. They cover all areas of the Florida driver’s handbook and will prepare you for your real written test. Each Florida practice test consists of 25 questions about both road signs and traffic rules.

Aim for 90% or more at a handful of sample tests to be sure to pass the real test.

Your real DMV written examination has 50 questions. The passing score in Florida is 80 percent, which means you must correctly answer at least 40 out of 50 questions. *

During the written exam, you may not talk to anyone other than an examiner. Furthermore, books, notes, cell phones and blue tooth devices will not be permitted in the testing area. Remember to read each question carefully. Also read each of the possible answers carefully.

Once you complete an exam through a registered provider your completion information is automatically submitted to Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and this information is available at all Driver License Offices. Paper certificates are no longer required at the driver license office.

*/ This article has been updated. Florida changed the examination in 2015. Instead of 40 questions, the exam now has 50 questions.
